a partnership/alliance agreement and an incentive scheme is associated
with the performance.
In addition to the provision
of production and maintenance services, the scope of work includes a
programme of Yemenisation involving the recruitment, selection and
training of all the basic production team.

process |

Overview |
|
The East Shabwa Development
comprises pipelines for transporting produced crude oil, gas and water
mix to the central production facility at Kharir, a production facility
at Atuf-NW, and a gathering facility at Wadi Tariba. At each location
production water is removed and the crude oil is degassed.
Specification crude oil from
Kharir Central Production Unit is pumped in a 10" pipeline to the
Canoxy facility at Masila for export to the sea loading facility.
Specification crude oil from Atuf is delivered by 4" pipeline to
the 10" Kharir-Masila pipeline. Oil from Wadi Tariba is
pre-treated, then trucked to, and processed at Kharir.
