Production and maintenance services of oil recovery facilities on east Shabwa field for TOTAL YEMEN

 
Contract type

This contract is based upon a partnership/alliance agreement and an incentive scheme is associated with the performance.

In addition to the provision of production and maintenance services, the scope of work includes a programme of Yemenisation involving the recruitment, selection and training of all the basic production team.

 

The process

Overview

The East Shabwa Development comprises pipelines for transporting produced crude oil, gas and water mix to the central production facility at Kharir, a production facility at Atuf-NW, and a gathering facility at Wadi Tariba. At each location production water is removed and the crude oil is degassed.

Specification crude oil from Kharir Central Production Unit is pumped in a 10" pipeline to the Canoxy facility at Masila for export to the sea loading facility. Specification crude oil from Atuf is delivered by 4" pipeline to the 10" Kharir-Masila pipeline. Oil from Wadi Tariba is pre-treated, then trucked to, and processed at Kharir.

Scope of services
The scope of services includes (but not limited to):
Review and endorsement of all facilities dossiers from EPSCC Contractor
Preparation of all policies, plans, manuals, procedures associated with the operations of the specific facilities.
Acceptance of all facilities at the end of the Commissioning tests and handover.
Start-up of production
Operations of wells and processing of hydrocarbons.
Delivery of produced treated oil to export facilities.
Systematic reporting to Client.
Definition of spare parts initial stock.
Definition and purchase of all necessary consumables
(diesel, water, production chemicals, laboratory consumables, lubricants and greases).
Services of camp facilities and all operations logistics. (emergency evacuation, transportation
of personnel and equipment, handling of materials, equipment, maintenance of tracks and
roads, communications, etc...).

The Operational Team is constituted with 51 persons distributed as follows:
Twelve Persons Production Team
Nine Persons Maintenance Team
Fifteen Persons Logistics Team
Three Persons Safety and Administration Team
Twelve Persons Catering Team

The vehicles fleet is total, 17 vehicles
